The Russian search engine, Yande, have just released their map API to website developers. Yandex Maps includes a variety of maps and satellite images, including the most detailed online maps of the world in Russian. Yandex also includes detailed maps of Russian and Ukrainian cities. Micropath Corporation have announced their gMapExplorer "Web Browser". This mixes the Google Earth and Google Maps products, to give street, satellite, terrain, and Google Earth views. The Google Earth control must be installed first. Further information including usage can be found on the gMapExplorer PDF . This is unusual set of functionality, but gMapExplorer appears to be useful when planning radio communication paths - Micropath's speciality. |
